Making Memories

Today, we made a memory.  To celebrate Ellee's upcoming birthday, our amazing friends invited us to join them for high tea at Robinson's Tea Room in Stony Brook.

The atmosphere was cozy, warm and inviting.  And these little girls explored every detail, with wonder and delight.

They added milk and sugar to delicious chocolate hazelnut tea, and sipped it, with pinkies out.

And then they feasted, on a tower of treats.  The girls loved their heart shaped sandwiches, and the Mom's helped them out by eating a few of the delicious scones.  Seriously, these scones were fantastic.  They came with raspberry jam and clotted cream, and tasted absolutely amazing.

Half of the fun was just checking out all of the delicious treats.

Not being much of a tea connoisseur, I ordered one of the greatest hot chocolates I have ever had.

The soon to be birthday girl wanted the candy cane, so of course her mommy shared.

It was an absolutely amazing afternoon.  A huge, huge thank you to our amazing friends for making the day so special.  The girls had a great time together, and the mom's kept busy in conversation too.  I'm so thankful and so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives.
