Last night we celebrated our last Christmas party of the year with our College and Career Group friends.
These are some of the kids that we have gotten to know over the past 8 years that we've been out here. When we started many of them were in Jr. High, figuring out life and how to survive high school. And now, they have grown into these amazing young adults who are spending the next 4 or so years figuring out how they will spend the rest of their lives.
During Christmas time, they travel home from wherever their post high school dreams have taken them. It's pretty amazing because a good handful of them are actually studying at the college that Jer and I attended. It's so awesome to hear their stories and to see how God is using them to do great things.
We also have a great group of friends that have been local for college. We get to see them weekly, and many of them participate in other ministries that we have going on at the church. They too, are pretty phenomenal.
This is definitely one of my favorite parties of the year.
In usual College and Career Group tradition, we play a slightly more legit version of Yankee Swap.
The gifts were pretty great this year.
Excitement and anticipation was felt as each gift was opened.
And it was just good to be together.
Sharing good times, life and laughter is the glue that bonds our relationships together.
It was a great night.
On a side note... I love this guy.
Good times, great memories.
Thanks to everyone for an amazing night!
