This afternoon we celebrate the birthday of one of our good friends.
It was a crazy fun afternoon.
Most of the kids really enjoyed this.
Which was the target of this clever contraption, consisting of a recycled leaf blower turned fairly effective wiffle-ball pitching machine. These kinds of things happen, when your friend's dad is a bit of an engineering genius.
My good friend Laura even got in on the action, and I must say that she is quite the hitter.
This afternoon was filled with all things that every birthday should have. The kids enjoyed fun games, fresh air and having a great time with each other.
Afterwards, they all headed indoors for an inspired game of Spoons.
Technology
And pizza helped replenish all of the energy that was consumed during the game time.
And we ended our party day with delicious root beer floats.
