Pioneer Clubs is a children's program at our church where I spend my time every Wednesday afternoon. It runs from 4:00pm-5:30pm and is for children Pre-K through second grade. We have an amazing time singing songs, playing games, eating snacks and learning about Jesus. We have an amazing group of 25-30 students and leaders that come each week. This week, we had a Mummy Contest.
It was pretty much everything that you would expect from a Mummy contest.

Mr. Andy looked a lot like the sample picture that was given.
The kids had a blast. It was just good, clean fun.
After we had the Mummy contest, we played, "pick up all the toilet paper," which was nearly as fun as the actual game. We really do have such great kids that come to our Pioneer Clubs program.
After all of the hard work was done, the kids enjoyed a snack of pink lemonade and Oreos. We took time to thank God for the snack, because we like to emphasize thankfulness within our group.
And then we enjoyed our snack. Some kids tried to convince me that they needed more than two cookies, but I convinced them that if they ate too much, they wouldn't be hungry for dinner. Granted, I don't think that kids really care that much, about things like that. However, I do care about things like that, and I've realized that I can be pretty convincing... with kids anyways.
After the snack they went up to their lesson time. I have two amazing teachers that work with our group, and I'm so incredibly blessed because my children both attend Pioneer Clubs this year. They learn so much and they love it. We will continue through the end of March, so if you have kids that are Pre-K through second grade, and are interested, you should totally come and check it out.
