Words with Friends...

It's 12:14am, and I am making cinnamon rolls.  Mostly because I started making them a few hours ago, but had failed to remember that they are a three hour process.  I'm finally getting ready to bake them and they smell amazing.  But it would probably be good to remember that the next time I have a hankering for cinnamon rolls, I should probably just to go the Pillsbury way and not have to stay up late, waiting somewhat patiently for the ones made from scratch.

I enjoyed words with friends today.  Not so much the game, but more so words with many of my actual friends.  I caught a short ride home with my friend Gayle in which we caught up and then spent a few precious moments praying for each other's day.  I drove over to see my dear Scentsy friend and rep, Jen, who loaded me up with the most delicious fall scents that you could imagine (more about that to come).  On the way home, I stopped in at the church to chat and laugh with my friend Jen.  Then this afternoon, when I was supposed to be cleaning my house I was finally able to get ahold of my friend Amber, who filled me in on her amazing, new life in my dear home state of Michigan, while I procrastinated from things like vacuuming and laundry.

Then, this evening, I spent some sweet time with Jeremy's dear Aunt Karen, who is out visiting us for a few days from the great state of Washington.  It was so fun to be able to talk to her and share stories.

Words with friends.  A true treasure in our ever changing, constantly moving lives.

Besides that, the oven is now preheating, and I'm merely 30 minutes away from my hot, fresh cinnamon rolls.  As I wait, and after I finish this post, I will continue editing through the wedding that I shot last weekend.  I have not been more excited to delve through such an amazing day.  The bride was stunning, the venue absolutely gorgeous, and the pictures are going to be quite wonderful to work through.  Now that I've gone and gotten myself all motivated, I will end this post and get to work.

Thanks for stopping by.  Sorry there were no pictures.  Sometimes it's just words.
