It's hard to imagine, but our sweet, sweet Ellee girl turns six this week. So today, we celebrated her birthday along side of some of her closest friends.
Most years, it's our Herr family tradition, to celebrate birthdays at home, amongst our own family. Some years though, we like to mix it up. For both of our kids, we decided that the kindergarten year would be a big party year, complete with friends and extra fun. This year worked out beautifully, because I happened to be able to photograph the beautiful wedding of one of the owners of the Castle in Westhampton. During the time I booked her wedding, we also booked a birthday party for Ellee, so it worked out perfectly.
We invited a few of Ellee's church friends and a few of her school friends. It was a sweet mix of the most wonderful little girls.
And a few boys as well.
Ellee had a wonderful time celebrating with all of her friends and with the beautiful Princess that appears for all of the wonderful parties at the Castle. It was such a precious day.
She had a blast, playing games and eating pizza with all of her friends.
And she adored the beautiful cupcakes as well.
We sang "Happy Birthday" to her and proudly watched as she made her wish and blew out her candle.
It's hard to imagine that our awesome girl, with her silly faces is almost six years old.
We are so incredibly thankful for her and for the blessing it's been to see her learn and grow throughout these past six years. We've watched this sensitive soul grow more confident and even pick up some of her Daddy's fun sense of humor along the way.
Happy Almost Birthday, to our sweet, sweet Ellee girl. Your brother loves you.
Your Daddy loves you.
Your Mommy loves you.
But most of all, Jesus loves you! You are our darling girl with your beautiful heart and we thank God everyday for the blessing it is to have you in our lives. We love you so much Ellee!
