Today was special. Okay, so everyday is theoretically, but today was extra special, because I got to go and hang out with our Ellee girl at Kindergarten. Kindergarten, by the way, is pretty amazing, and I think if given the choice, I would hang out there more often.
Moving along, Ellee had a Gingerbread House party today.
So, I got to go and watch our genius daughter meticulously build an edible masterpiece.
She remained focused on making the very best house throughout the entire party.
After spreading on about a pound of frosting, she began to work on the details.
It was incredibly fun to watch her create her Gingerbread house. I helped out, but only a little. She was determined to create this masterpiece exactly how she wanted it to be.
Another parent at our table was kind enough to capture this quick picture. My goodness, I am blessed and so very thankful to be a Kindergarten Mom.
After the houses were built, the children sang a special song for us all.
And then we grabbed a few quick pictures with friends.
After that, Ellee put the finishing touches on her creation and I carried it home, along with many wonderful Christmasy works of art that she also created during the past few weeks.
This gem will be proudly displayed in our home and I'm so thankful for a special morning with our girl.
