When I heard that we were going to have weather in the high 50s today, I knew it would be a good day to get my own Christmas card pictures done.
However, since it was such an unseasonably warmish day, we did have to hang out a bit on the playground after school. It seemed to be such a shame not to take advantage of the amazing weather. C and E met up with friends and had a blast running around for awhile. Afterwards, we ran home, changed into the "picture" clothes and headed out to catch the last bit of light and capture a few special moments.
I was super proud of my kids. Granted, I did what most moms do, and begged and pleaded with them to smile nicely so that we could get some nice shots. And graciously, they obliged.
Overall, they were pretty awesome. We threw a few silly moments in to make things fun as well.
My goodness my kids are growing up so fast it seems.
I'm super thankful for them and for the sibling relationship that they share.
I love their sweet moments and I'm so thankful that they have each other.
In a fun turn of events, I was also able to catch a great individual shot of each of them.
I was pretty excited to get these pictures to capture their unique personalities at this moment in their lives.
I'm looking forward to finding some fun Christmas cards to use these pictures in. A huge thank you to my wonderful kids for helping me out this evening and making Mommy super happy to be done with our Christmas pictures. Also, if you are local and needing to capture a few special shots of your family for the Holidays, send a message to me: lauraherr8@gmail.com. There is still time to get in a session before Christmas and I'll work hard to get your gallery up quickly so that you can have images to share and to treasure. I'll also be at Eastport Elementary School this Saturday at the Holiday Breakfast. I was asked to come and be available to take family pictures and I'm really looking forward to it. If you're looking for a something easy and quick, this is a great opportunity to get a treasured shot to share.
Total cuteness...especially the kiss on the cheek one. Adorable!
