He's hanging in there. I was able to fill a prescription this morning and that has helped to manage the pain, although we have a bit of a learning curve with the timing to figure out. It's difficult to see someone that you love in so much pain. But like I said, he's hanging in there.
As I mentioned in my last post, we have a huge youth retreat called Breakaway coming up this weekend. For the past ten years, we've been here, we've gone on this retreat. This year, we have over 90 students and leaders attending. We have an amazing speaker coming out from Michigan and a worship team that will travel out from Grace Bible College. And at this point, it's our goal to get Jeremy well enough to be able to go. Tonight, we had our Breakaway leaders meeting, and it was exciting to talk and plan with the amazing team that we have going. Jer did a great job talking through everything and I was pretty proud of him.
It must have tired him out, as he's now sleeping soundly. Tomorrow we will call the Orthopedic doctor and hopefully get a plan set in motion. If you would, could you please pray for us this week. I go between moments of panic and peace when I think of everything that needs to happen. Thankfully, I know that God holds everything in His hands. Prayers for strength and healing and direction would be greatly, greatly appreciated. Thank you so much dear friends.
