Sweet Eleven

I've been keeping in touch with my family as much as possible over these past few days.  I talked to my Mom earlier and she shared that my Dad's progress is slow, but seems to be moving forward.  A few tests came back today that were encouraging, for which we are thankful.  It's been a bit of a roller coaster at times though.  One call will share discouraging news but the next will be positive.  I've been praying so much for healing and God to work this great miracle, but I've forgotten that God works in His perfect timing and that things like this just take time.

All that being said, I thought I would share a fun picture tonight.  My younger sister Sarah was able to spend the day with my parents, so my older sister Leslie had all of the kids this evening.  Both of my sisters are pregnant and between them they currently have nine kids, soon to be eleven.  It's pretty amazing.  Leslie was able to capture a fun shot of all of the grandkids tonight, while we were Skyping with her.  I think it's pretty amusing to say the least.  I absolutely love my nieces and nephews and while we can't be together due to distance, I am so thankful for the ways we are able to connect.

All that being said, I'm so thankful for these sweet eleven little faces and thankful to know that they are loving and praying for their Grandpa.

I have to thank you all again for your continued prayers for my family.  I just got off the phone with my Mom, and my Dad is resting well tonight.  There is a good chance that he will be moved out of ICU soon.  He may do another round of dialysis tomorrow as well.  Our main prayer is just that his kidneys will heal and then hopefully begin to work on their own.  I know that my parents appreciate the prayers so much.  I'm hoping to share more positive news soon.
