Fourth of July Block Party

You've got to love a good ole fashioned block party.  I know that I sure do.
Yesterday we had the opportunity to attend an amazing one.  It was a day full of friends, family, fun and fireworks.  It was pretty much the perfect way to kick off this year's Fourth of July weekend.

The Block Party Olympics kicked off the day.  There was an egg race, water balloon toss, tug of war and a pudding and pie eating contest.

Trophies were handed out, but it seemed that everyone who participated had their fill of fun.

The dunk tank was a huge favorite amongst the kids.

All day long, you'd find friends, family and neighbors, laughing, hanging out, eating fun food and just all over having an amazing time.

Another highlight was the hula hoop contest.  These girls were amazing!

With KAN JAM and dancing there was fun to be had by all.

And at the end of the night, the neighborhood enjoyed a fireworks display like no other.
It was the perfect ending to an amazing evening.

I had the privilege of not only attending this amazing event with my family, but also photographing the entire party and the amazing neighbors who lived on this block.  Over the next few days, I will edit through hundreds of pictures and I am so incredibly excited to be able to share these with the amazing people who participated in this unforgettable event.

REMINDER:  I am giving away a $25 Gift credit to an amazing Etsy store HERE.
Check it out, the giveaway ends tomorrow at midnight!
