Beautiful Day

Today was beautiful.  

 

Temperatures were in the 60s.    

Birds were singing, and it just felt like Spring.  There were sweet promises in the air of all of the beautifully new things that come with the changing of the seasons.

Ellee was sweet to entertain the notion of a simple photo shoot with a fun pink rose.  She is getting a bit more opinionated in her old age, and at times requires a bit of coaxing to pose for the camera.

We spent our afternoon with friends at Pioneer Clubs.  Ellee and her sweet friend decided to dictate the game "Red Light, Green Light," with these fun signs.

The rest of their classmates had a fun time simply playing the game.

Side note:  This sweet girl just makes me smile.

It was a blessing to spend the afternoon with this group.  I love seeing them learn and grow and as we near the end of our year, I know that I will miss this time.

All in all, it was a great day.  It was refreshing and beautiful and I'm thankful for the many blessings that filled it up.
