Perfect Scents

I have a new favorite and it has to do with things that smell really, really good.  

A little back story:  I am a big fan of things that smell good.  However, I am not a fan of danger.  And for years while my kids were little, I refused to even think about lighting candles, because regardless of how much I loved the smell of them, I felt it was a pretty risky move to have candles burning in our home.

So, when I first heard about Scentsy awhile back, I was instantly intrigued.  

Basically, Scentsy is a wickless candle company, that specializes in many fragrance related products.  

They sell a variety of beautiful warmers that you use to warm Scentsy bars. 

 These bars release a beautiful fragrance that will flow throughout your home.  There is no smoke, no soot and no lead that comes out of their products.  There are over 80 scents to choose from.  I checked out many of them today and I can say that I was really impressed with the scent and quality of the bars.  My favorites include:  Clean Breeze (which smells like fresh laundry, drying in the warm sunshine), Coconut Lemongrass (which reminds me of the rich coconut and citrus smells of every tropical island I have ever visited) and Lush Gardenia (which just smells like deliciousness).  

For each warmer you can use two or three squares which come in handy reusable packaging.

You simply plug in the warmer, and place the squares in the melting dish on top.

As they melt down, they release a beautiful fragrance.  Online I read that these candle bars can last anywhere from 50-80 hours, which definitely outlasts any candle I have ever purchased.  

The wax doesn't burn out.  Once the fragrance is gone, you can simply pop out the dried wax and start over with a new scent.

 I got to experience Scentsy products this afternoon when I visited Jennifer Bigora, who is a local consultant.  She was so sweet and gave me all sorts of helpful information about Scentsy.  Her sweet little one was also very helpful in letting me smell many of the different scents.  

What I love about Scentsy, is that not only do they offer high quality warmers and Scentsy bricks, they also offer a variety of other fun smelling products, including these room fresheners and solid perfume fragrances.

Another product that I loved were these scent paks.  They come in a variety of the Scentsy scents and can be used to freshen almost any area, from drawers, gym bags or even specially made Scentsy buddies, which are adorable stuffed animals for kids with a special pouch for the scent pak.
