It's hard to believe, but our busy summer Wednesdays have finally come to a close. Throughout the summer, we fell into a double beach routine. In the mornings, the kids and I would meet up with other moms and kids for a mega beach play date at Webby's beach in Center Moriches. After getting quality beach time in, we'd usually stop by Ultimate Cafe in Center Moriches for a .99 soft serve cone with sprinkles. Then I'd head to the gym for my cross-training class, to balance out the ice cream and afterwards, meet up at Rogers Beach with our amazing youth group kids for TAG (which stands for Time Alone with God). Tonight was our last TAG of the summer.
We still have a few students left who were able to join us before heading off to college.
And we have many high school students, who have mastered the art of the "photo bomb" as demonstrated here.
Moving along.
Tonight was a perfect beach night.
We hung out
With some amazingly beautiful friends.
And took beautiful pictures
In front of the beautiful ocean
As the sun was setting
And the sky was perfectly pastel.
We also got in some quality "jumping off the lifeguard stand" pictures.
It was memorable, and it was fun.
Christian joined us at the beach after his soccer practice tonight and jumped right in.
This sweet girl on the other hand, needed a little coaxing from her awesome Daddy before she was ready to be brave. After some encouragement she jumped her little heart right into Daddy's arms.
I just want to give a huge, huge thank you to all of the amazing leaders and students who joined us for TAG at the beach this summer. We love you all so much and look forward to seeing you all in a few weeks when we kick off our youth group year.
