Sometimes

Sometimes, when you are at a friend's house, and you see their kids sitting on the steps, you just have to make them pose for a picture.  I do this often.  Not so much the "sitting on steps" part, but most definitely the part where I make the kids of my friends smile for my camera, just because they are great kids and I think that maybe someday their Mom would want this picture to remember her beautiful kids, just as they were at this very moment in time.

Thankfully, none of my friends have seemed to mind me taking cute pictures of their cute kids.  Which is a good thing, considering the fact that I really enjoy photographing wonderful people, and all of my friends and their families seem to fall into that category.

Besides that,

I'm looking forward to the weekend.

I'm wishing for snow, though it seems unlikely with mild weathered days in the upcoming forecast.

I'm proud of the fact that I completed the first two posts in my series of posts featuring some great small businesses in our town.

I'm looking forward to checking out more places in Eastport next week.

Apparently, I'm feeling pretty thoughtful, as I'm just kind of enjoying writing the things I'm feeling.

I'm just a bit disappointed in myself, because it seems like I continually struggle with the same things.

I'm hopeful though, because there's always tomorrow.  And hopefully tomorrow will be better than today.

And finally, I'm thankful.  For many, many things.  And I have a list of 840 things to prove it.  I'm getting closer and close to my goal of 1000 things to be thankful for.

That about sums it up.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you all have an incredible weekend!
