This Saturday

This Saturday, Jer took a group of students skiing in the Poconos.  He sent me this picture, which he took on his iPhone.  And it made me realize again, that my husband is an incredibly talented photographer.

He took all of these shots, which are now hanging on our living room wall.  For Christmas, I printed them up as 5x5s and attatched them all together with Fotoclips.  It's my favorite wall decoration ever.

Besides that, I've spent today catching up on my Bible reading and working on my list of 1000 things that I'm thankful for.  I'm at 852, which happened to be, "Ellee's hysterical laughter."  Not to be confused with her other variations of laughter.  As I write this, she is doing it again, and it's a purely beautiful sound.

For dinner tonight, I had a Weight Watchers Lasagna.  I'd be proud to share how I committed myself to being healthier for the new year, so I went out and joined this great program.  I didn't though.  In reality, I just happened to combine coupons with sales at Target this week, so I got these all for around 79 cents each.  I personally think that they are easy and delicious too.  

And finally, today was my laundry catch up day.  Piles of fresh clean clothing are currently waiting to be put away, and I feel a bit of a sense of accomplishment for having mostly worked through the mess of laundry that was hanging out in our green room.

Considering the fact that my clean laundry will probably not be putting itself away, I'm off to finish what I've started.  Hope you're all enjoying your Saturdays!
