It was a busy one...

Today was terribly busy, but terribly good.

I started out my morning, visiting Dr. Sal at Bella Smiles.  Surprisingly, I went into my appointment calm, and not terribly anxious, which is good for me.  Dr. Sal was so great, fixing the small cavity that I had, quickly and relatively painlessly.  Once again, if you are in need of a great dentist, I highly recommend making an appointment with Dr. Sal.  His office and staff are just amazing.

After the dentist, and while the novocaine wore off, I did my grocery shopping.  I've started this new thing where I try to plan out my meals, and shop accordingly.  Granted, in the whole scheme of life, I'm sure that many people just do this because it makes sense... but for me, it's a bit new and I'm pretty excited about it.  On a side note, if anyone has any good (somewhat easy) new meal ideas, send them my way.  I've never been great with cooking, but I'm looking to get better and to try new things.

This afternoon, we had a "God Loves Me" Valentine's Party at Pioneer Clubs.  Goodness knows, I love this group.  We watched "A Snoodle's Tale" which happens to be my most favorite Veggie Tales episode ever.  We talked about letting God and His love define who we are.  Then we made a heart craft, with foam stickers.  It turned out a little something like this.

A few of the moms stayed today, which was nice.  They talked amongst each other, and then jumped in to help out when needed.  It's such a blessing to get to know these amazing kids and their parents.

We are off next week, as it's winter break, and then we only have four more weeks of Pioneer Clubs.  It's hard to believe that the year is almost over.

One of my amazing friends made homemade vanilla cupcakes with whipped frosting for our treat today.

They were absolutely delicious.

We have one little guy that is allergic to eggs, so he wasn't able to partake in the cupcakes.  He seemed pretty happy with his fudge stripes though.

All in all, it was a great day.  Granted the kids got pretty energetic after the cupcakes, but a few fun games helped.

After Pioneer Clubs, I had my once a month book study.  We had a small group this month, but it was so, so good to get together with some pretty amazing women and discuss the importance of contentment and forgiveness in the context of relationships.  And that was my Wednesday.  It was a busy one... but it was definitely a good one.
