Sometimes Love Looks Like...

Sometimes Love looks like a huge container of your favorite chocolates from your favorite chocolate shop.  Last night, Jer and I went out with some of our friends for dinner.  When we got to my friend Jen's house, she smiled and handed me this.  It was love, and it was filled with my favorite candies and it was awesome.

Sometimes Love looks like this.  According to Ellee, "Um, I don't exactly know what it is... but I like to call her Elephant."  In typical preschool fashion, Ellee came home today after her "Balentine's" party, with a bag full of love from her teacher and all of her friends and it looked like this.

Sometimes Love looks like this sweet card, made for Jer and I by our sweet little girl.

Sometimes love looks like a cuddle with a much loved friend.

Sometimes Love looks like a Mom who was so excited when she had a few minutes to run into the Dollar Store, and subsequently found these adorable helium balloons, that she believed would certainly make her sweet kids so happy.  Ellee was delighted, and has walked around the house all day with her Monkey balloon.  Christian, on the other hand immediately lit up with a smile and asked, "Can I cut a hole in it, and suck out the helium so my voice sounds funny?"  On a side note, this picture makes C look like he's so much older, right?  Our awesome 7 year old is definitely going through a growth spurt.

Moving along.  Sometimes Love looks like this.  When I laughed and asked Christian what it was, he said in a very matter of fact way, "Mom... It's Cupid."  So there you have it.  Now you know what Cupid looks like, in case you've ever wondered.

Finally, sometimes Love looks like a big box of chocolate covered fruit, given to you by your amazing husband who knows that your favorite things ever are chocolate and fruit.  It was also accompanied by a very sweet note, filled with love and loving words.  It made my heart happy.  Well done, Jer!

Hope your Valentine's Day was also filled with Love!
