When I ran upstairs to get Ellee out of the tub after the water had drained, she exclaimed,
"Oh good, Mom. I thought I was going to be in this tub FOREVER!"
My goodness, kids sure say the funniest things.
Ellee in January 2008
Over the years, I've collected some fun things that my kids have said, so I thought I would just share a few tonight. It's good to laugh. It's good to smile at the little joys in life. I think that we would all be that much better if we took time each day to enjoy the funny things around us.
"Hey Mom, how many pounds do I cost?"
"It's hard to see when you're sleeping."
"Hey Mom, you know what? It's a 'miracle' when you try something you don't think that you'll like, and you like it."
"Does drinking water help you to last longer?"
Ellee's prayer one night... "Dear Jesus, Pray Mommy not tell me 'No" no more."
And finally, the reason our family doesn't have a dog-
"Hey Mom, we're not a dog family, are we? Is it because dogs poop? Hey... if you didn't feed them, they wouldn't poop!"
I'm incredibly thankful for my kids and the funny things they say.
Your children are just soo precious and they bring me joy every day. I love Ellee's prayer! And although I have heard these stories before, I love hearing them again. We may need to have some funny video time Sunday night after CNC :)
