Ah, Saturday. This morning I went to my last Zumba class at The Fitness Studio. It was pretty epic. I know that I will miss my classes there and wish the very best to Kim and all of the exciting things that she will be doing in the days, weeks and months to come. Afterwards, I took the kids to Burger King for breakfast. Ellee rocked the crown and we had a great time together.
While there I saw this on the counter and it made me wonder what I would ever do if I won $640 Million Dollars. That is a ginormous amount of money, and I don't necessarily think that it would make me any happier than I already am. I think that I would give a lot of it away to people who actually needed money and then I would take a trip to Europe with our family and possibly buy a new couch.
Thankfully, I'm pretty sure I will never have to worry about that kind of thing. And truth be told, I'm pretty sure that I am already pretty rich in the things in this life that actually matter. Like this cute kid.
After Burger King, we stopped by Target, which truth be told, is one of my favorite places. Our first stop at Target is always to check out the "Happy Bargains" in the dollar section. Our kids know that most trips, if they behave themselves, they get the mini-luxury of picking anything that they want, out of this section.
And so they carefully sort through treasures like these fun monkey notebooks
And these gross looking cookies until they find their perfect choice. Today, it was a green squirt bottle for Ellee (so she could water the plants at our house) and a bag of army men for Christian.
Both kids were pretty happy with their choices. I also got to pick out some fun things with the birthday money that my parents sent me. I skipped over the dollar section and found some fun work out clothes instead. With The Fitness Studio closing, and the encouragement of my awesome husband, I decided to join another local gym, conveniently located a mile from our home. I've gone there quite a few times in the last two weeks, and I'm really enjoying it.
After our adventures, we came home to enjoy the rest of the rainy day in the coziness of our home. As March comes to a close, I'm excited to see what April has in store. I'm excited for warmer days, blossoming trees, pastels and the sweetness that inevitably comes with this new season of Spring.
Have a great weekend!
