Today, we captured sassy fun, in front of the beautiful purple tree in our backyard.
Today we captured thoughtfulness.
Today we captured sweetness.
And today we captured each other.
Today we captured a brief blossoming beauty.
And today we captured the sweet smells of Spring.
It was a good day to capture, a good day to embrace. Oh, and today, we also accomplished this great feat. My parents bought this K'Nex Super Roller Coaster (pretty sure that that is not the exact name, but it's definitely something close to that) for Christian for Christmas this past year.
And today, all together as a family we built it. Granted, Mom and Dad did most of the building, but Ellee and C jumped in too grab pieces and parts. Sure there were moments of doubt, but after a good hour or so of persistence, we got it all together and then rejoiced as we flipped the motor on and it was up and running.
If you've ever tackled such a project, you know the pride and joy that comes in finishing the project successfully. We all definitely felt that pride and that joy. The roller coaster is sitting in our dining room, and it brings a little smile to my face when all of a sudden you'll hear the motor running and sounds of joy as the car goes up and down the tracks.
