Dear Emily

Dear Emily,

You are one of the most beautiful people that I know.  

We first met when you were in Jr. High.  You came to our youth group and we thought you were a pretty amazing girl.

You have loved our kids ever since they were small.  And consequently, they have loved you back.

Especially our Ellee girl.

Last year, we took a trip to Boston.  I asked you to tell me how your amazing parents raised you to be such an amazing young woman.  I told you that you were wonderful and that I hoped very much that my daughter would grow up to be like you.  And I absolutely, 100% meant it with all my heart.

You have an incredible heart.  And you are a very, very good friend.

You are such an important part of our youth ministry.  You attended our youth group for years, and this year you've stepped up as a leader.  I am so incredibly proud of you and the amazing person that God has made you to be.

I wanted to write you to tell you that tonight, you absolutely made this little girl's day.  Your generosity has touched all of our hearts and we just want to thank you for being so special to us.  

Ellee went to bed tonight, giggling with delight at the precious treasures that you shared with her.  

Thank you Emily.  Outside of your incredibly generous heart, we just love very much the wonderful person that you are.  God is using you to do great things, and to touch many hearts and lives.  We are so blessed to know you and to love you and we just wanted to thank you for being you.
