Don't get me wrong. I'm mostly under the assumption that everyone's family is pretty great. But it should be noted, that some families are just extra genuinely great. And the family that I worked with today was most certainly one of those kinds.
I started working with this awesome family in 2009.
We went down to the bay and captured some great shots. I loved seeing the closeness of this sweet sibling group of four. It was evident that they were the kind of family that looked out for each other.
Then, in 2010, we met up in Westhampton to shoot another sibling session. Again, it was a fun hour of photography. It is such a blessing to work with great kids like these ones.
I've actually been privileged to know this family outside of photography sessions. Their kids have participated in the youth ministries at our church for years and it has been such a blessing to know each and everyone one of them. They are all so amazing and awesome and wonderful. And they are kind too. Just genuinely great kids.
Today, we continued the tradition, with a great session taken in some fun locations in Riverhead. It was pretty crazy to see how much they have grown up over the years. It was also great to see that they still had that sibling bond.
We even got a family shot this time, to include the amazing parents behind this genuinely great family.
It was a great afternoon, and I just want to thank this genuinely great family for letting me capture their family portraits over the years!
