I have this theory about saving money. If you're not, you should be. It's pretty simple, and many of us have a variety of ways that we do it. One of my favorite ways, is using a website called Hip2Save. It's this website where this wonderful woman named Collin shows you many, many ways to save money. One of my favorite ways that she shows is how to save money at Rite Aid. Which is what I did tonight. I got all of the items below for a grand total of $13.60. Which is not a bad deal (the bag of Pistachios were $8.49 alone). But what makes it even better, is that I also got $10.00 back in store credit, which then made all of those items cost me only $3.60.
I split my order into two separate transactions. Because I like to use the store credits for the following order. So my first transaction was $13.33.
And when I used one coupon and a $5 store credit coupon which I received from my first order, my second order only cost me .27 cents. And in all honesty, it's really fun to pay .27 cents for a big bag of pistachios and two bottles of hand lotion.
From both transactions I received a total of $10 back in store credit that I will use next week to buy more fun things.
And it really only took me all of 2 minutes to check out the website and figure what fun things I could get this week for a good deal. So yes. I have this theory that if you're not saving money, you should be. Because it's pretty easy and pretty fun.
