Summer Kick Off Barbecue

Tonight was our annual Youth Group Summer Kick Off Barbecue.

We had a great time getting together with some pretty amazing students, leaders and parents to celebrate the beginning of our Summer schedule.  Summer for our youth ministry always has a bit of a different pace.  We get together weekly for a bible study at the beach, take trips to Hershey park and Splish Splash, and do a variety of other fun activities.   

We have awesome kids from Eastport and all of the surrounding communities that join up with our youth group all throughout the year to participate in our youth ministries.

They are pretty amazing, and we love them a lot.

We have a great team of leaders who help us do all that we are able to do.  

We also have a great group of college age students who help out too!

 All that being said, tonight was a great kick off to the summer.

We are really excited to see many students who have just finished sixth grade join up with us for the summer.  They will be an important part of our junior high youth group this fall.

With this being our ninth year of ministry at Eastport Bible Church, it's been a huge blessing to know and work with so many wonderful friends.  

We are excited for this summer and know that it will most certainly be a memorable one.
