Today was a rare and wonderful day in which I spent most of it with many, many wonderful children. Backing up, this week has been the perfect storm of some of the things in my life I love the most. First off, every ministry that we are a part of, kicked off this week. From now through the school year, we will participate in church ministries for six out of the seven days of each week. Secondly, it's been a wonderful week for my photography. Today I spent the morning taking the school pictures for the most wonderful children at Over the Rainbow Preschool and this weekend I am looking forward to a beautiful wedding on Saturday and a day of photography at a local fall festival on Sunday.
All that being said, it was a full and busy day. After spending the morning at the preschool, I prepared to kick off our church's Pre-K through 2nd grade ministry, aptly titled Kids Club. Along with my amazing team of leaders and helpers, we welcomed 21 kids to our club this afternoon. It was extremely fun. I will definitely look forward to sharing more pictures in the weeks to come, but spent most of the time during the club, laying out the program and getting to know the sweet kids who are participating this year.
