The Kickoff

On Sunday afternoon, at 4:00pm we began another year of ministries with our annual Kickoff event, which was aptly titled "The Kickoff."  We invited kids of all ages, and their families to join us at Eastport Bible Church for an afternoon and evening of food, fun and entertainment.

It was heartwarming to see all of the kids that came out for the event.

It was also very good to see the familiar faces of the amazing youth group students that we will work with for another year.  

We are so thankful for them.

The kids enjoyed a variety of activities outside, including this bouncy house.

It was a full afternoon.

I was so excited to see the faces of lots of little ones.

Including these handsome guys who will be joining me this year on Wednesdays for Kids Club.

A wonderful team from our church provided a great dinner.

And right before going in for the main program, we played this game.

And lots of balloons.  Fun times.

Once inside, after a welcome and devotion given by my amazing husband Jeremy, we split up the teens from the younger kids.  Pastor Charley entertained the younger ones with all sorts of fun games and banana splits for all.

Upstairs we played quite a few rounds of games inspired by Minute to Win it.  

It was fun and entertaining.

And made me realize that we have quite a few talented students.

All in all, it was a fantastic evening.

I'm so thankful to everyone that donated resources and time to make this Kickoff event so special.  

We are looking forward to an amazing year of ministry and tonight's event was the perfect way to celebrate the beginning of another great year at Eastport Bible Church.
