Happy Birthday to My Mom :)

Today is my Mom's birthday.  I wish that I could be with her to celebrate, but I'm happy to know that she is right where she needs to be.  For the past two weeks, she's been by my Dad's side, at a hospital in Detroit, helping and encouraging him as he continues to heal.  

I'm very thankful for my Mom.  She has been with me for most all of my most important moments throughout the years.  

She loves her grandchildren and though we live miles apart, she has always treasured them and the moments that they have shared. 

She was able to be with Christian and Ellee in their first weeks of life, doting on them like Grandmas tend to do.  

One of my Mom's greatest joys is to be with her grandchildren.

She currently has eleven, but that number will increase to thirteen this year, thanks to both of my sisters.

My Mom is a great nurturer and cares very deeply for her family.  She probably got some of this from her mother, my dear Grandma.  I'm incredibly thankful for the beautiful legacy of love and faith that has passed down from generation to generation.  

As each year comes and goes, I'm so very thankful to have a beautiful Mom to share special memories with.  I pray that we will continue to have many, many more, as God and time allows.

Happy, Happy Birthday Mom!  I pray that God will continue to bless you throughout your years as you love and serve Him.  Thank you for all that you do and I look forward to the next time that we are able to be together!
