Dear Catherine...

Dear Catherine,

First off, thank you so much for having me come and photograph your sweet, sweet baby boy.  He is such a wonderful little guy.  It was a joy to be able to work with you both.

Secondly, as a proud Mom to two very sweet big kids that used to be so little, I thought I'd share a little advice.  Catherine, cherish these moments.  Adore those sweet cheek kisses.  Because oh, the time will just fly.

Love each and every moment with your little guy.  Every day, look deeply and lovingly into those big brown eyes and just soak it all in.

Teach your sweet one about this amazing world that we live in.  

And take every opportunity to live out love as you raise your precious son.  

Oh, and give those sweet little puckery lips lots and lots of kisses too.

Though some days (and nights) might seem long, they really do pass quite quickly.  There are so many new things that you will get to see your sweet baby do during this first year.  Celebrate each milestone, each accomplishment and treat each day as the gift that it is.

I'm sure you know all of these things.  Because in the short time that I was able to work with you and your cutie pie son, I was blessed to be able to see such a beautifully strong Mama adoring her sweet, sweet baby boy.  Thank you for taking time to let me come and capture these special moments.
