Today was a special day, because Jer and I got to go into Christian's class and watch him make his Expert of the Week presentation.
Christian did a great job, reading his presentation poster. He chose baking chocolate chip cookies as his area of expertise. He shared a brief history and fun facts that we found while researching.
After his presentation, he got to answer questions from his classmates.
I took this opportunity to catch a few quick pictures with some of his buddies.
It's been fun to see the different kids that are in his class over the years. This friend was also in his Kindergarten class.
The final part of his presentation was bringing in two different kinds of chocolate chip cookies and having his classmates pick which one was their favorite. He got to stand up in front of the class and tally up the points while reading their comments as to which on they chose.
We are incredibly thankful for Christian's sweet teacher and for this fun project. We have been so blessed to have our children attend a school where they have fun learning and are loved and well cared for.
This is the video that we made that went along with Christian's Cookie Expert of the Week presentation. We are super proud of our son and are so excited to see him continue to learn and grow.
