Annual Spaghetti Supper

So, the blizzard that we got this weekend cancelled basketball practice, three birthday parties and church on Sunday morning...

But it didn't touch our annual Spaghetti Supper and Breakaway Youth Service.  Granted, a few less people were able to come but we were very happy to see and serve those who were able.

A wonderful group of our students arrived early to help decorate.

In the craziness of the past week, I actually forgot to pick up decorations, but thankfully we had a slew of leftover supplies from past parties and we went with it.

Our students also help with the food prep and manned the ever popular "Salad Room"

Helped out a bit in the kitchen,

And poured plenty of soda.

It was wonderful getting together for an evening of food and fun.  Side note, this is my dear friend Cindy and she is due within the next week or so.  I cannot wait to meet this precious and oh-so-loved baby girl!

It was so exciting to see all of these beautiful faces after being a bit cooped up all weekend.

We absolutely love all of the families in our church.

Ellee had fun running around with friends.

I'm so thankful for the wonderful buddies that she has.

After the dinner we met up in the sanctuary for a youth led service.  Jer spoke a bit and showed an incredible highlight video that he worked hard to put together this past week.

Our students led worship.

And then we had a sharing time and many of our students and leaders talked about how God worked in their lives over the weekend.  It was incredibly powerful and touching to hear their testimonies.

I'm incredibly thankful to everyone who helped out with and came to our Spaghetti Supper!
